In the polished mirror
She knows herself,
At once she is identity of the knower and the known,
Insofar as she reveals herself to none other than herself,
Her own inner Being.
At once she is the hidden and the revealed,
Insofar as her essence always exceeds
Her own knowable Form.
At once she is the beginning and the end,
Insofar as she returns to where she is from,
Her own timeless Being.
